All our holiday houses are totally individual and have their own unique designs – our newest addition is no different! West Cottage features a hand painted bespoke green kitchen, bold artwork and a private garden built for entertaining.
The ideal relaxing rural retreat for couples, friends and families, in the heart of the Fife countryside. Being the closest property to the farm, its the perfect location for a horse holiday.
West Cottage was renovated in 2021, transforming a traditional farm cottage into wonderful contemporary accommodation. Architects Muir Walker and Pride extended the house to provide a modern, comfortable holiday home with bold interiors.

West Cottage’s interiors were designed to delight the eyes with a modern and clean look. The interiors incorporate natural wooden kitchenware from local suppliers Quince & Cook, warm brushed brass ironmongery and pops of colour throughout the spacious home.
The garden is enclosed to ensure dogs and children can run freely and it has it’s own private hot tub. The spacious first floor balcony is perfect for your morning yoga session, enjoying a glass of wine or reading a book as the sun goes down.

Got what you need
Downstairs offers guests an entrance hall, utility room, bathroom with shower, open plan kitchen, dining and living room with floor to ceiling windows. The views at Lindores are incredible so you’ll like the big windows and doors which open onto two separate and large patio areas.
The garden and parking area are enclosed so kids and dogs stay safe. The front patio is a lovely spot to watch the world go by. The rear patio is private and sheltered for hot tub, dining, lawn games and BBQ’s. The property is semi-detached so we ask you to be considerate of noise levels after 10pm.
Upstairs the West Cottage en-suite bedrooms are super comfy, clean, relaxing and spacious. There are three showers, one bath and three toilets so we installed an extra large water tank to keep the powerful showers hot hot hot!
Sociable living inside and outside
The 6-seater hot tub, BBQ and garden furniture facilities that come with our lodges in Fife are just outside the open plan kitchen living room for easy dining and socialising all year.

The price for this property includes accommodation, hot tub, linen, towels, log burner with complimentary logs and kindling, electricity, heating, board games, Nespresso coffee machine with pods, dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, microwave, electric oven, fridge/freezer, hairdryers, iron, coffee, tea, sugar, all kitchen amenities plus dishwasher tablets, fairy liquid and tea towels. Private parking, safe enclosed garden, gas BBQ with gas, 4G and free WIFI.
50% deposit secures the booking
50% of remaining balance due 4 weeks prior to check in
No charges for credit card or debit card booking payments.
We request credit card details are supplied with a pre approved balance of £300 to cover us for the unlikely event of any damages or breakages during your stay.
Booking Confirmation
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatic generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by email.
Provisional booking can be held for 7 days but we suggest you confirm with a deposit or full payment to secure your dates and avoid disappointment.
