Fife is a hidden gem for mountain bikers and road bikers! So base your stay at Lindores for either passion or the perfect destination to explore and venture on your bike with our biking holidays.
– Ride like Danny MacAskill did on our very farm during the Red Bull filming of ‘Wee Day Out’ or for your own safety and unless you’re slightly crazy too we suggest:
– day trips to take advantage of the uncluttered miles of natural singletrack, deep forests, river vistas and technical challenge nearby.

DON’T HAVE A HORSE?
For those that don’t have their own horse there are riding schools locally to try horse riding in a safe environment.
Barabarafield’s Riding School is 11miles from Lindores. It offers hacking and lessons over 300 acres of farmland. Alternatively you could ride at Highfield Equestrian which is 4 miles from Lindores Lodge. Customers can get a riding lesson in the indoor riding school at Highfield or hack out through farmland and forestry.
Or if you would like to host a pony party Toppy Star Pony Hire are a local business that can do just that. Topsy Star Pony Hire and have the most adorable placid and friendly ponies. One of the shetlands call ‘Bonnie’ visited Lindores Lodge to meet the famous mountain biker Danny MacAskill for a bit of fun. Kirsty who owns and looks after the ponies can organise bespoke packages if you get in touch.
