In today’s world, inclusivity isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a vital value that guides organisations, communities and businesses toward a better, more compassionate future. Here at Lindores, we embrace this very ethos and are redefining the way we think about hospitality. Located in the picturesque surroundings of nature, Lindores offers not just a peaceful getaway but also an environment that welcomes everyone – no matter your background, identity or needs.

What Does Inclusivity Mean at Lindores?

At Lindores, inclusivity means ensuring all guests feel valued, safe and comfortable from the moment they drive up the farm road. This is more than just providing accessible rooms or dietary options in our venues, it’s about fostering an atmosphere where every individual can find a space where they belong.

Inclusivity is woven into the very fabric of our philosophy. From a diverse and welcoming staff to the thoughtful design of our spaces, every detail is intended to make sure no one is excluded.

One of the standout features of Lindores is our collection of custom-built holiday houses, designed with both accessibility and style in mind. We understand that a relaxing rural retreat is one that offers not only comfort and convenience but also a beautiful and inviting space to unwind. Our holiday houses reflect this balance, ensuring that accessibility needs are met without compromising on aesthetics or charm.

From wide, spacious doorways and step-free access to adapted bathrooms and ergonomic furniture, every detail is thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. We’ve incorporated features such as lowered hangers, accessible light switches and grab rails where needed, ensuring that you can navigate your surroundings with ease.

Each house is designed with an eye for detail, featuring modern aesthetics, warm natural materials and tasteful interiors that reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Whether you’re lounging in the open-plan living area or enjoying a meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll experience the perfect blend of comfort and elegance.

The Barley House

Creating an accessible space is something our team have worked hard to achieve when up-fitting The Barley House. Featuring an accessible entrance and toilet with grab rails, this allows guests to safely enjoy the space. The entry into the bothy area is one level with a widened door and moveable furniture.

These features make the space versatile for any type of gathering, lunch experience or workshop. Without compromising on details, charm and authenticity – this space is functional and fun.
