A 3 Day Horse Holiday at Lindores is the ultimate horse riding holiday UK. Take advantage of onsite stabling, hacks around the farm area, cross country course, our grass show jumping paddock, new 60m x 40m outdoor arena, and great local instructors for your horse riding holiday.
Example Itinerary:
After getting settled into your accommodation on check in day, day one of your itinerary you could hack around the 650 acres of Lindores farm, allowing you to find your bearings and experience the terrain, views, and wildlife. After lunch, why not visit Lindores Abbey Distillery before heading back to the farm for some riding in the enclosed grass show jumping paddock.
On Day two you may pre-book to experience the cross-country course. There are over 120 fences of heights, varying from 30cm to 1m+. The fences suit all levels of horses and riders which is why riders travel from all over Scotland and North of England to train at Lindores. The afternoon will give you an opportunity to take time to enjoy the local area such as St Andrews, where you can return and take an evening ride if you so wish! Our equestrian facilities are open during daylight hours so an evening ride is a lovely way to finish the day.
When you wake up on day three, you’ll be thankful for a lazy morning before getting back on the saddle to experience again Lindores Cross Country course to practice and progress. It’s a great playground to try new things, without the competitive pressures. By the afternoon, you’ll definitely have earned some time in the hot tub and your horse will have earned a break. Take time to relax before dinner out in the evening.
