Day 1 – Aberdour, 40 minutes by car from Lindores

Start with a culinary adventure led by renowned food expert Wendy Barrie. Explore the bountiful larder of Fife as you sample some local delicacies. Situated in the popular village of Aberdour, you could also visit Aberdour Castle. This historical gem has been one of the filming sites of the hugely successful tv series, Outlander.

If there is time to spare, just 15 minutes by car from Aberdour – you can reach Burntisland and explore some of the Fife Coastal Path. You can stop by Cafe Verde for a delicious coffee afterwards.

Day 2 – Crail, 40 minutes by car from Lindores

For your second day, you can begin at Crail Museum – explore the maritime history of this beautiful coastal town. It gives a great insights into the rich history of the area focusing on local people telling personal stories. Continue onto Kingsbarn Distillery, just a short 5 minute drive. With either whisky or gin experiences available, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Later in the day, head to Bowbridge Alpacas and meet their wonderful herd. Once you have worked up an appetite, stop by The Inn at Kingsbarn and enjoy their local, seasonal dinner menu.

Day 3 – Dundee, 30 minutes by car from Lindores

Head over the Tay Bridge and arrive in Dundee – also known as ‘The City of Discovery’. Historically, Dundee was famous for the three J’s – Jam, Jute & Journalism. Start off by visiting The V&A Museum, the waterfront design museum featuring striking architecture and exhibits. Once finished, you can set off 30 minutes North and visit Peel Farm for a delicious lunch or Afternoon Tea, and then explore their Nature Trail.

In Summer months, you could stop by Wild Shore , a water-based adventure hub, offering unique adrenaline charged outdoor activities.
